Answer:

True.

Explanation:

In the United States, as of January this year, 24 states have reported cases of deer infected with chronic degenerative disease (CWD). Fatal and still little known, the disease destroys the nervous system, and is common in deer animals - and now scientists fear it could infect humans. For this reason, deer are being considered a possible pest in some states, including Pennsylvania.

The disease has earned the nickname "Zombie Deer Disease". This is because it leaves infected animals with skeletal appearance, causing weight loss, excessive salivation, and a glazed, expressionless look, similar to images of the undead. To date, no cases of the disease have been reported in humans, but studies have shown that primates, such as monkeys, can become infected by eating deer meat with CWD, or by contacting body fluids. These studies suggest that there may be a risk to humans as well.

What does the small vacuole do?
Marina86 [1]
Vacuoles are organelles present in plant cells, some animal, and some prokaryotic cells. There is a difference in size between plant and animal cells. Plant cells usually have one large vacuole while animal cells have a number of small vacuoles. If the term "small vacuoles" is used for vacuoles in animal cells, then they are involved in overcoming the foreign particles, storage of waste and during the exocytosis, and invagination of the cell membrane during engulfing the bacteria.
