Answer: insolation is the process of trapping heat in a place like a house.

radiation is the process of emitting electromagnetic waves to heat something up, like the sun is heating up the earth.

conduction is the process of a hot or cold object touching another object which changes the temperature of the other object until both objects are the same temperature like my hand touching the hot stove.

convection is what happens when you mix a liquid or gas with unequal temperatures which results in the hotter liquid or gas being lifted up and the colder liquid or gas going down which eventually transfers their energy to each other until they are of equal temperatures

Which type of boundary forms where two continental plates collide?
svp [43]
Because the rock making up continental plates is generally lighter and less dense than oceanic rock, it is too light to get pulled under the earth and turned into magma. Instead, a collision between two continental plates crunches and folds the rock at the boundary, lifting it up and leading to the formation of mountains and mountain ranges.

<span>At some convergent boundaries, an oceanic plate collides with a continental plate. Oceanic crust tends to be denser and thinner than continental crust, so the denser oceanic crust gets bent and pulled under, or subducted, beneath the lighter and thicker continental crust. This forms what is called a subduction zone.
