1 day = 225 liters
2 days = 450 liters

I don't think it is proportional..

Proportional is like..
1 day = 12 bags of rice
2 days = 11 bags of rice
3 days = 10 bags of rice

Thanks.

Answer: The number of days the water supply lasts is proportional because there is a constant ratio in the number of liters the elephant drinks.

Using the slope and the y-intercept, graph the line represented by the following equation. Then select the correct graph. 3y = 2
Over [174]
First, let's write the given equation in slope-intercept form: y = mx + b

In slope-intercept form, the slope of the line is m, and the y-intercept is b. The slope is a measure of how steep the graph is at any point and is found by doing rise over run. This means the change in y values divided by the change in x values. Next, y-intercept is just where the graph crosses the y axis.

All we need to do to get the equation in slope-intercept form is to divide each term by 3. This will isolate the y.

y= \frac{2}{3}x-2

As you can see, the slope of the line is 2/3, and the y-intercept is -2.

To graph the line, plot a point at (0,-2). This is the point where the graph crosses the y axis. Then from that point, count up two and right 3. Plot a point here as well. Lastly, connect the two points with a straight line.

See attached picture for the graph.

Is 2/3 an improper fraction or a mixed number
Drupady [299]
It's neither.
If it were to be an improper fraction, it would be something like 3/2 instead of 2/3.
If it were to be a mixed number, it would look like 1 1/3.

Replace ∗ with a monomial so that the derived expression may be represented as a square of a binomial: * +14b+49
anyanavicka [17]

Answer:

  * = b²

Step-by-step explanation:

You know that the square of a binomial is of the form ...

  (x + y)² = x² + 2xy + y²

Matching given terms, we have ...

  49 = y²

  2xy = 14b

Solving the first of these relations for y, we have

  y = √49 = 7

Putting that in the second relation and solving for x, we find ...

  2x·7 = 14b

  14x = 14b

  x = b

Then the first term of the expansion, x², will be b².

The missing term is b².
