Answer:

21. An= 100 (2)^n-1

22. $51,200

23. n= 15

Step-by-step explanation:

21. 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600...

An= A r ^n-1

22. a10= 100(2)^10-1

a10= 100(2)^9

23. n=14

a14= 100(2)^14-1= 819200

n= 15

a15= 100(2)^15-1= 1638400

How to find upper and lower bound of a definite integral given an unknown equation?
worty [1.4K]
Finding the upper and lower bounds for a definite integral without an equation is pretty hard because how can we find the upper and lower bounds of  definite integral if there is no equation given. But I will teach you how to find the lower and upper bounds of a definite integral, when the equation is like this

\int\limits^6_1 t^{2} - 6t + 11dt

So, i integrate this,
( \frac{t^{3} }{3} - 3t^{2} + 11t) \int\limits^6_1

I know I have a minimum at x=3 because;
f(t )= t^2 − 6t + 11
f′(t) = 2
t−6 = 0
2(t−3) = 0
t = 3
f(5) = 4
f(1) = −4

What is the area of the pentagon, rounded to the nearest tenth?
Rudik [331]

The area of the pentagon, rounded to the nearest tenth will be 32.7 square cm. Then the correct option is C.

<h3>What is a polygon?</h3>

The polygon is a 2D geometry that has a finite number of sides. And all the sides of the polygon are straight lines connected to each other side by side.

A regular pentagon has an apothem measuring 3 cm and a perimeter of 21.8 cm.

Then the side length of the pentagon will be

5 x Side length = 21.8 cm

     Side length = 4.36 cm

Then the area of the pentagon, rounded to the nearest tenth will be

Area of pentagon = 5 x area of triangle

Area of pentagon = 5 x 1/2 x 4.36 x 3

Area of pentagon = 32.7 square cm

Thus, the correct option is C.
