Step-by-step explanation:

If you recall SOH CAH TOA, you know that

cosine ∠T = adjacent / hypotenuse

You can write this with adjacent = OT and hypotenuse = BT.

And you can also write this with adjacent = AT and hypotenuse = CT.

So cosine ∠T = OT/BT = AT/CT.

But this is not exactly what has to be proven. If we multiply left and right by BT/AT we do get what we want:

\frac{OT}{BT} \cdot \frac{BT}{AT} = \frac{AT}{CT} \cdot \frac{BT}{AT}

OT/AT = BT/CT

which IS what had to be proven.

A machine requires three hours to make a unit of Product A and five hours to
svlad2 [7]

Let A unit be a; B unit be b

a + b = 95

b = 95 - a

3a + 5b = 395

3a + 5(95 -a) = 395

3a + 475 - 5a = 395

-2a = -80

a = 40

a + b = 95

40 + b = 95

b = 55

Therefore, a = 40; b = 55.

The amount of kerosene, in thousands of liters, in a tank at the beginning of any day is a random amount Y from which a random a
Tems11 [23]

Find the marginal density for Y by integrating the joint PDF over all possible values of x:

f_Y(y)=\displaystyle\int_{-\infty}^\infty f_{X,Y}(x,y)\,\mathrm dx=\int_0^y2\,\mathrm dx

\implies f_Y(y)=\begin{cases}2y&\text{for }0

Then the density of X conditioned on Y is

f_{X|Y}(x\mid y)=\dfrac{f_{X,Y}(x,y)}{f_Y(y)}=\frac1y

for 0 and undefined elsewhere.

Thus

Alexis and tasha challenge each other to a typing test. Alex typed 54 words in one minute which was 123% of what tasha typed. ho
nekit [7.7K]
The relationship between what Alex typed and what Tasha typed can be represented by a simple equation.
Where: 'A' the number of words Alex typed in a minute and T is the number of words typed by Tasha in a minute.
A = (1.23)T \\ 54 = (1.23)T \\  \frac{54}{1.23} = T \\ T = 43.9

Therefore Tasha typed 43.9 words in one minute.
Hope this helps!
