This fact reveals that Anna was a smart woman who could think even when faced with danger.

Who was Anna?

Anna was the mother of the narrator of the story. The story narrates several acts that portrayed her mother to be a smart woman.

When she encountered a near-death experience, Anna clung to an electrified metal pole instead of clinging to her husband and dying along with him. This shows that Anna was a smart woman.

Vsevolod [243]

Answer:

-We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;

How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver

In these lines, Shelley compares people to clouds that appear at night and veil the midnight moon. He states that these clouds "speed, gleam and quiver" restlessly. The metaphor is intended to reference human life. Just like the clouds, human life is brief. Therefore, these are the lines that best support the idea that life is fleeting.

The great gatsby summary

katrin [286]

Daisy, Tom, and Gatsby are filthy rich people. Daisy becomes infatuated with Gatsby despite her relationship with Tom...their relationship is already broken anyways since Tom has been cheating on Daisy with some chick named Myrtle. Nick(the narrator) is fascinated with Gatsby, but Nick plays hardly any noticable role in the story...he's more of an onlooker of all the rich-people drama. Gatsby and Daisy fall "in love" or perhaps they're just lustful for one another. Long story short, Daisy runs over Tom's lover Myrtle and kills her...and then a couple days later Gatsby dies in his fancy pool.

In “the tyger” by william blake, what conclusion can be drawn about the tiger’s creator?
Kazeer [188]
The conclusion can be that the creator was angry and malevolent when he made the tiger, but it comes as a wonder that the same creator made both him and the lamb. It is so absurd that the narrator himself asks the question whether it's possible that there are more creators than one.
