Why do you think slavery lasted so long in the American south
Natalka [10]

The South had fertile soil great for growing crops such as tobacco, cotton, etc. This led to there being many plantations and a small amount of available labor. So to resolve this issue, they brought in slaves to help their economy. Without slaves the economy would have really suffered. The reason there was so many slaves in the south was because again, the south had a good climate for growing crops while the other areas did not

PLEASE HELP 50 POINTS IF U DO
abruzzese [7]

Answer:

Anschluss was the reuniting of all German people and the take over or annexation of Austria. Hitler wanted all German people to be united under his rule so he made an Anschluss with Austria to take back the Rhineland. By 1937, rapid German rearmament helped Germany take Austria because it was rich in raw materials and labor. It supplied Germany with magnesium and the products of the iron, textile and machine industries. It had gold and foreign currency reserves, many unemployed skilled workers and hundreds of idle factories, and large potential hydroelectric resources. The Anschluss was part of the 4 year plans where Hitler wants to impose the Treaty of Versailles and start the rearmament and take back the land they lost and reunite and the German people. Herman Göring was also the leader of the military that lead an army into Austria to form the Anschluss.Explanation:

What does Leah Salgado mean when she says "We would rather that folks see us as who we are as individuals"?
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

So I don't personally know a thing about Leah Salgado but the phrase remains the same. Seeing people as individuals gives them the respect the would deserve. If one person does something wrong you cannot blame the entire ethnic or religious group etc. Seeing people as individuals gives respect to them as the person that they are.
