Find the sum of the arithmetic sequence.
-4, -1, 2, 5, 8, 11, 14 (1 point)
Allisa [31]

Answer: 35

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula to find this is number of terms/2(first term+last term)

So, we have 7 terms, our first is -4 and our last is 14

Please help with this question, I need to make sure I'm right. Thanks
Lina20 [59]

an=4n+1

Sum of first 30 terms

a1+a2+.................a30

Sn=(a1+an)*n/2

a1-----------first terms

an=---------last term-----a30

n= number of terms-----30

calculation of a1

a1=4n+1=4*1+1=5

calculation of an

a30=4*30+1=121

S30=(a1+a30)*30/2

S30=(5+121)*30/2=1890

The sum of first 30 terms is 1890

Q ##10 please I need help with this
algol [13]

Here we are given the inequality:

y\geq4x-5

Let us check for each ordered pair that satisfies the given inequality.

1. (3,0)

LHS: y

here y is 0.

So LHS is 0.

RHS: 4x-5

plugging x as 3,

4(3)-5 = 7

0≥7

False

So (3,0) does not satisfy the inequality.

2. (1,1)

LHS: y

here y is 1.

So LHS is 1.

RHS: 4x-5

plugging x as 1,

4(1)-5 = -1

1≥-1

True

So (1,1) satisfy the inequality.

1. (3,4)

LHS: y

here y is 4.

So LHS is 4.

RHS: 4x-5

plugging x as 3,

4(3)-5 = 7

4≥7

False

So (3,4) does not satisfy the inequality.

1. (2,1)

LHS: y

here y is 1.

So LHS is 1.

RHS: 4x-5

plugging x as 2,

4(2)-5 = 3

2≥3

False

So (2,1) does not satisfy the inequality.

Answer: (1,1) is the solution of the given inequality.

Regression analysis was applied between sales data (in $1,000s) and advertising data (in $100s) and the following information wa
Darya [45]

Answer:

A. $66,000

Step-by-step explanation:

The relationship between sales data (in $1,000s) and advertising data (in $100s) is:

y=12+1.8x

If if advertising is $3,000, then x =$30, and the point estimate for sales (in thousands of dollars) is:

y(30)=12+1.8*30\\y=66

Converting it to dollars, the point estimate for sales is:

S=1,000*66\\S=\$66,000
