Hopefully it’s not too late!

Advantages: The colonial army had much better knowledge and familiarity with the land/terrain as well as a strong will and reason to fight.

Disadvantages: They lacked simple resources and had to work much harder for food, shelter, weapons, and military leaders to begin the revolution
