If a molecule of DNA has 200 pairs how do the DNA molecules fit into the cell?

DNA is able to fit into a cell because of its shape. DNA is a double helix that can bend and twist in all sorts of directions. An easier example to visualize is a spaghetti noodle in a bowl. Stretched out straight, it wouldn’t fit in the bowl, but once coiled or twisted up, it would conform to the shape of sand bowl. Well, DNA can coil up just like a noodle can, which gives it the ability to become compact enough to fit into the nucleus of a cell. The way DNA molecules can all fit into the cell is because they coil around histone proteins, which once in a tight enough coil, become nucleosomes which can stack to then become chromatin. That is how about 6 feet of DNA can be squeezed into a microscopic cell.

What is the percent of the genes on the chromosome?
kati45 [8]
Every person has two copies of each gene, one inherited from each parent. Most genes are the same in all people, but a small number of genes (less than 1 percent of the total) are slightly different between people. Alleles are forms of the same gene with small differences in their sequence of DNA bases. These small differences contribute to each person’s unique physical features.

Hope this helps

Please help me with this question. ty! <333
Anni [7]

Answer:

A. Activated B - cells divide to form memory cells.

Explanation:

The vaccine contains the dead version of the respective virus, so that virus will be inactive and it will become easy for the WBC to kill it and antibodies will be formed.

This is done because if we get infected by the virus, our body cells (WBC) will remember that how they killed the first entered virus (the dead version) and it will be easy for them to kill the active virus as they know the antibodies which were formed to kill the inactive virus.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU
