Just multiply what is inside the square root.

\sqrt{3} \times \sqrt{16} = \sqrt{48}
the answer is the square root of 48.

then you have to simplify so it becomes 4√3

The APR of Caesar's savings account is 3.6% and interest is compounded monthly the principal and Cesar savings account with $6,6
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

$6841.56

Step-by-step explanation:

formula for compound interest is

A = P (1+\frac{r}{n})^{n*t}

P is the initial amount= 6600

r is the rate of interest = 0.036

t is the number of years = 1

n = compounded monthly = 12

plug in the values in the formula

A = 6600(1+\frac{0.036}{12})^{12*1}

A = 6600(1.003)^{12*1}

A= 6841.55986990

$6841.56 is the balance of his account after the interest is paid for the year

Write an integral in polar coordinates equivalent to the following:
Alex73 [517]

The region is a segment of a circle with radius √2 lying above the line y=1. In polar coordinates, this line has equation

y = r\sin(\theta) = 1 \implies r = \csc(\theta)

and the circle has equation

x^2+y^2 = r^2 = 2 \implies r=\sqrt2

The two curves meet when

\csc(\theta) = \sqrt2 \implies \sin(\theta) = \dfrac1{\sqrt2} \implies \theta = \dfrac\pi4 \text { or } \theta = \dfrac{3\pi}4

Then the same integral in polar coordinates is

\displaystyle \int_{-1}^1 \int_1^{\sqrt{2-x^2}} xy \, dy \, dx = \boxed{\int_{\pi/4}^{3\pi/4} \int_{\csc(\theta)}^{\sqrt2} r^3 \cos(\theta) \sin(\theta) \, dr \, d\theta}
