Tropical Cyclones and global warming are strongly related. The more the ocean and seas become warmer, the more cyclones occur.

Global warming besides melting the ice caps also warms up the seas.

Rising sea temperatures and increased maximum water various content in the air are recipes for tropical cyclones.
