A term applied to hard rocks, or <u>igneous and metamorphic rocks</u> that are distinguished from sedimentary rocks because they are typically more difficult to disaggregate. Well cemented sedimentary rocks are sometimes described as being hard, but are usually called soft rock.
Start an activity that does not require extra equipment because the student is actually doing the work. You can conduct as much research as you want but that doesn't mean the student will actually do the activities.
