Answer:
Welcome new student
Hope you have a great time at our school, maybe we can be friends. I hear that you don't understand Pemdas, I want to help.
First you need to know what PEMDAS stands for which is:
(P)arentheses
(E)xponents
(M)ultiplication
(D)ivision
(A)ddition
(S)ubtraction
A good way to remember PEMDAS is Please End My Depression And Suffering. Now I will solve a equation using PEMDAS.
((2^8x16)+5(4+9)-7)/4
Step one is parentheses so we need to solve (2^8x16) first step is the Exponents 2^8 so 2x2 8 times, this equals 256, then multiply 256 by 16 which is 4,096. Now we rewrite the equation with our new numbers.
(4,096+5(4+9)-7)/4 next part is 5(4+9) to solve this you need to do distributive property so (5x4)+(5x9)=65 rewrite equation again.
(4,096+65-7)/4
Now we combine like properties so 4,096+65-7=4,154 last step divide by 4
and the answer is 1,038.5. now using PEMDAS why don't you double check my answer.
Sincerely,
Y/N
