Radiation from the sun heats the Earth's surface by means of rays that are trapped in the atmosphere and allow the Earth to have constant heat.

How is the Earth's surface heated?

The surface of the Earth heats up due to the sun's rays that hit it and when they enter the atmosphere they are reflected on the surface being trapped between the atmosphere and the surface.

Another important aspect to keep in mind is that the rays strike at different angles throughout the Earth, for example:

  • In the equatorial zone they affect directly, so this zone tends to be more quality than others in which the rotation and translation of the Earth cause the rays to enter in less or more quantity throughout the year.

Select all that have a value of 0. cos 0 sin 0
zhenek [66]
For cosФ×sinФ =0, then either cosФ or sin Ф must be zero.
       cos 90 = cos 270 = 0
      sin 0 = sin 180 = sin 360 = 0.
So, the values that would give you 0 are:
1. cos 90 sin Ф
2. cos 270sin Ф
3. cos Ф sin 0
4. cos Ф sin 180 and
5 cos Ф sin 360.
