I believe its 180.

I have seen this question before and the amount of girls was 220, so 400-220 is 180

Hope this helps :)

An arithmetic series consists of consecutive integers that are multiples are of 4. What is the sum of the first nine terms of th
Mrac [35]

Answer:  The answer is 144.

Step-by-step explanation: Let 'a' be the first term and 'd' be the common difference of the given arithmetic progression (A.P.).

According to the given information, A.P. is {0, 4, 8, 12, 16, . . .}, i.e., a=0 and d=4.

The sum of first n terms is given by

S_n=\dfrac{n}{2}\{2a+(n-1)d\}.

So, the sum of first 9 terms is

S_9=\dfrac{9}{2}\{2\times 0+(9-1)\times4\}=\dfrac{9}{2}(8\times 4)=144.

Thus, the required sum is 144.

A building in the shape of a rectangular prism needs to be painted. Some facts about the building are shown below.
algol [13]

Answer:

(2)(120)(80) + (2)(120)(50) - (4)(60)(5²)

Step-by-step explanation:

The lateral faces of the building are the 4 sides of the building consisting:

2 rectangles of 120 ft by 80 ft

Area of the two rectangular faces = (2)(120)(80)

And

2 rectangles of 120 ft by 50 ft

Area of the two rectangular faces = (2)(120)(50)

✔️Total lateral surface area of the building = (2)(120)(80) + (2)(120)(50)

Note: we are asked to find the expression that represents the total surface area that needs to be painted given that there are 60 windows on each lateral face of the building of the shape of a square with side lengths of 5 ft.

Therefore, the total lateral surface area of the building that will be painted = total lateral surface of the building - total area covered by the 60 windows on each face of the building

Surface area covered by 60 windows in the 4 lateral face of the building = (4)(60)(5²)

✅total lateral surface area of the building that will be painted = (2)(120)(80) + (2)(120)(50) - (4)(60)(5²)

Help! Based on the given information, what can you conclude and why?
DochEvi [55]

Answer: \triangle HIJ \cong \triangle LKJ

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: ∠H ≅∠L and line HJ congruent to Line JL.

Since, In triangles HIJ and LKJ,

∠H ≅ ∠L

HJ ≅ JL

And, ∠HJI ≅ ∠ LJK

Therefore, By ASA postulate,

Δ HIJ ≅ Δ LKJ

This is why Option first is correct.

Note: Option third ΔHIJ≅ΔJKL is not correct,

Because,  HI≠JK
