Martin Luther is known as the father of chorales. He introduced chorales, songwriting and composition in 1532. He also introduced community singing in churches with hymnal lyrics. He created over 30 chorales and hymn books in his career. His music served to affirm faith in Christianity and its principles of goodness.
Even though his total compositional output included works beyond the style, Claude Debussy was the main composer of impressionistic music.
