Pretty much is asking what are the dimensions of the house, every 6 cm= 12 feet so u can easily add the cm of the house then divided and cheeck with multiplication.
Like this: 10+7+9+9+8=43
43÷12=3r5
The answer is 3r5, so the dimensions are 3 and 5
Im hoping i did it right cause i did this problem but id remember it

A triangle has one angle that is three times the size of another, and a third angle that is 16degrees smaller than the larger of
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

26, 68 and 84

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the angle that is three times smaller than another be X.

Since the angle sum of a triangle is 180 degrees, we can form the following equation:

X + 3X + (3X- 16) = 180

Now we can simplify this equation:

7X - 16 = 180

7X = 196 (add 16 to both sides)

X = 196/7

X = 28

Therefore, the smallest angle is 28 degrees.

And from here we can figure out the other angles as they are 3x28 and 3x28 - 16.

So the three angles are 28 degrees, (3x28-16) 68 degrees, and (3x28) 84 degrees.

Sue has 100 dimes and quarters. If the total value of the coins is $21.40, how many of each kind of coins does she have?
Nookie1986 [14]

Answer:

There would be 24 dimes and 76 quarters.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find this, start by defining the number of dimes by x and the number of quarters as y. Now we can create a system of equations. Make the first about the total number of coins.

x + y = 100

Make the second about the amount of money.

.10x + .25y = 21.40

Now we can solve using elimination by multiplying the second equation by -4 and adding through.

x + y = 100

-.40x - y = -85.60

-----------------------

.60x = 14.4

x = 24

Now we can use the amount of dimes we have to find the number of quarters.

x + y = 100

24 + y = 100

y = 76

a photograph is printed in the center of a piece of paper measuring 7 cm by (x + 8) cm. The photo measures 5 cm by (x +6) cm . T
Nadusha1986 [10]

The paper is 7 cm by (x + 8) cm.

A photo is 5 cm by (x + 6) cm, and is printed in the middle of the paper.

The area of the border/space around the photo is 50 cm².

To find the area of the border around the photo, you find the area of the paper and subtract it by the area of the photo.

The area of the paper:

A = 7 · (x + 8)

The area of the photo:

A = 5 · (x + 6)

Your equation to find the area of the border around the photo is:

(7 · (x + 8)) - (5 · (x + 6)) = A

[area of paper - area of photo = area of border]

Since you know the area of the border, you can plug it in:

(7 · (x + 8)) - (5 · (x + 6)) = 50

Multiply the 7 into (x + 8), and multiply the 5 into (x + 6)

(7x + 56) - (5x + 30) = 50

Distribute/multiply the - to (5x + 30)

7x + 56 - 5x - 30 = 50

Combine like terms

2x + 26 = 50

Subtract 26 on both sides

2x = 24

Divide 2 on both sides

x = 12
