A) Volume = length×width×height

= 7cm × 6cm × 1cm

= 42cm^3

B) Volume = length × width × height

= 7cm × 3cm × 4cm

= 84cm^3

Volume of prism A + Volume of prism B

= 42cm^3 + 84cm^3

= 126cm^3

{126cm}^{3}

What is the range of the function y = |x |?
xz_007 [3.2K]

The range of this function is y is equal to all real numbers such that y \geq 0.

The definition of an absolute value is that it is always positive. Therefore, we know there can never be a negative value of y. This means that the lowest a function can go is to 0. Since there is no restrictions on how high it can go, y is able to go from 0 to infinity.
