Satire is a form of speech that makes caricatures of the subject for the purpose of exposing a fault or criticizing the individual. In this expert. Finn used satire in exposing the fact that prayers were ineffective for him.

Satire is a form of irony that uses humor to expose the inadequacies of a person or thing. Huckleberry Finn, used satire in this excerpt, to explain that prayers did not work for him even though Miss Watson encouraged him to pray.

Despite praying, he was unable to catch some fish with his hook.
