President Wilson, on the other hand, was adamantly opposed to Taft and Roosevelt's expansionist objectives and tried tirelessly to change direction. What was Stalin's part in ww2
Ad libitum [116K]

Stalin's role in World War II was instrumental in the victory of humanity over Nazism. Slandered by his internal opponents and bourgeois ideologists after his death in 1953, his military merits are rarely given the prominence they deserve, while battles and smaller leaders are given more prominence than the Soviet steel leader.

“In the direction of armed struggle, Stalin was generally helped by his natural intelligence and wealth of intuition. He knew how to discover the main element of a strategic situation and, as a result, he knew how to respond to the enemy, to unleash this or that important offensive operation.

to what extent did the British honor the treaty of 1783 which stated they recognized the United States and its new boundaries? W
Anvisha [2.4K]

The British removed their influence and recognized the US as a sovereign nation however they did not remove all of their troops from US lands.

Though the Treaty of Paris 1783 ended the Revolutionary War and Great Britain officially recognized the sovereignty and the independence of the United States. However, they did not remove troops from the US in particular along the western frontier and along the border with Canada. The continued presence of British troops was insulting enough but then the British began attacking US shipping and taking people off the boats to serve in the British army against the French in a system called impressment. These violations of US independence led to the war of 1812 which is considered the "2nd war of independence".
