Answer:

46.08 * 2 = 92.16

Explanation:

starts at 36, mark up by 60%

36 + 0.60(36) = 36 + 21.60 = 57.60

now they mark it down by 20%

57.60 - 0.20(57.60) = 57.60 - 11.52 = 46.08

46.08 * 2 = 92.16

ExtremeBDS [4]

Answer:

C) abandon the production of jam to fully specialize in the production of peanut butter and then trade with Company Q for jam.

Explanation:

According to different theories about trade specialization, a company or even a country should specialize in producing only those products that they can make better than their competition, i.e. have a comparative or absolute advantage in their production.

In this case, since Company R has a comparative advantage in the production of peanut butter, it should specialize in producing only that. In case they need jam, they should trade with Company Q in order to get some jam. Eventually Company Q  will only produce jam since they have a comparative advantage in jam production.

Growth of GDP = (DGP of Current/recent period - GDP of Prior period) / DGP of Prior period

In this question prior period is quarter 10 and current /recent period is quarter 11.

So, formula will be

Growth of GDP = (DGP of quarter 11 - GDP of quarter 10) / GDP of quarter 10

As we need to calculate the real GDP growth the formula will be as follow

Growth of real GDP = (Real DGP of quarter 11 - Real GDP of quarter 10) / Real GDP of quarter 10

Growth of real GDP = ($5,252 billion - $4,954 billion) / $4,954 billion

Growth of real GDP = $298 billion / $4,954 billion

Growth of real GDP = 6.02% = 6%
