Exponential growth has no furthest breaking point and populaces become rapidly. Logistic growth has a point of confinement and development approaches this cutoff in a sigmoidal manner. Logistic growth is more realistic, in actuality, yet exponential development is a superior model for bacterial societies, and so on that have boundless assets and space.

Answer and explanation;

-Logistic growth occurs when there are limited resources due to competition; it slows, stops, and has a period of exponential growth. Exponential growth occurs when there is unlimited resources due to little competition; individuals produce at a constant rate.

-The difference between exponential growth and logistic growth can be seen in terms of the growth of population. Population growth is defined as an increase in the size of a population over a specific time period.

-Exponential growth requires specific ideal conditions. These conditions vary to a great extent. In logistic growth, the growth rate is quick at the beginning then it begins to slow down later on.

Where does the second step of protein synthesis occur ?
OlgaM077 [116]

 Initiation:

In the cytoplasm, protein synthesis is actually initiated by the AUG codon on mRNA. The AUG codon signals both the interaction of the ribosome with m-RNA and also the tRNA with the anticodons (UAC). The tRNA which initiates the protein synthesis has N-formyl-methionine attached. The formyl group is really formic acid converted to an amide using the -NH2 group on methionine (left most graphic)

The next step is for a second tRNA to approach the mRNA (codon - CCG). This is the code for proline. The anticodon of the proline tRNA which reads this is GGC. The final process is to start growing peptide chain by having amine of proline to bond to the carboxyl acid group of methinone (met) in order to elongate the peptide.

What is the first step in the life cycle of a plant that reproduces sexually?
coldgirl [10]

Answer:

The most appropriate answer would be A sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell.

In sexually reproducing organisms including plants, life starts as a single-celled zygote which is formed by the fertilization of sperm and egg.

The zygote then divides through mitotic division to form an embryo.

After fertilization In angiosperms, the ovule matures to form seed and ovary matures to form fruit.

In gymnosperms, zygote develops into a new sporophyte.

How do simple and complex sugars compare in their effect on your glycemic index?
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

The glycemic index allows you to compare the ability of foods to increase blood sugar (glucose) levels. In general, simple carbohydrates have a medium to high glycemic index. In the case of complex carbohydrates, this varies.

Explanation:

The Glycemic Index (GI) is a measure that provides information on how quickly blood sugar levels rise after eating a certain food. Low glycemic index foods are those that have a low content of sugars or simple carbohydrates and that help regulate blood glucose levels, the consumption of foods with a low glycemic index has been proposed as a prevention and / or management factor of obesity, cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes mellitus and some types of cancer. Complex carbohydrates are made up of larger, more complex molecules and are found primarily in the form of starch and fiber. Foods high in fat or fiber are digested more slowly, so they also cause a slower rise in blood sugar. A food with a high GI raises blood sugar faster than foods with a medium or low GI. The GI is higher when foods do not contain fiber and they are easily digested, since they reach the bloodstream quickly, it is also higher if there is sugar or if cooking destroys part of the fiber and favors the digestion of food.
