For the first part of the question it is James Monroe. You can tell it is him because he is the one who was enforcing the doctrine. For the second part I am pretty sure it is this that they are setting in the ocean because Europe was not allowed to enter America and that is the sea between them. I am pretty sure that they are prohibited to enter America

Which landmass do you think was located over the south pole in the time of pangaea?
Luden [163]

The answer would be Africa. The reason behind this is it might have been positioned over the South Pole in the period of Pangea for the reason that it is the only landmass with glacial scratches that is pointed downwards. In the late 18th century, these scratches and scrapes were first documented as the outcome of a moving glacier when Swiss alpinists first connected them with moving glaciers.

Why did the Cherokee Nation believe it could win its case in the United States Supreme Court
strojnjashka [21]
They wanted to exploit a loophole in american politics. Before them, the other Native people who ceded their lands had first been recognized as nations and then when the territory became their legally, they would give it away in deals with the American government. The Cherokee thus declared themselves to be a sovereign nation and not to give the land, which is why they took the case to the supreme court in order to be protected.
