Why must you use the same number of beads when you construct the second chromosome in Step 1?
Masteriza [31]
You should use the same amount of beads for both chromosomes because they need to match in size.
I am assuming you are making a pair of homologous chromosomes out of pop beads, and they should have the same size because they code the same information, the only difference between them is that one comes from the mother and ther other from the father. (Homologous chromossomes have the same genes in the same loci).

Gnom [1K]
Active transport is a process requiring energy in which a substance crosses the cell membrane.  When the nerve cell is in its resting potential, there are the positively charged sodium ions and the negatively charged potassium ions. During depolarization, the neuron fires, wherein the active transport plays its role: the positive ions are forced in and the negative ions are forced out. When depolarization is done, these ions are again back to normal through active transport.<span>

Tanya [424]

Answer: The body is a system filled with smaller systems. Each used to help out the other and benefit the body as a whole. For example, the respiratory system takes in oxygen, the heart then takes the oxygen in the blood and pumps it throughout the entire body. Then veins carry that blood to muscles and organs.
