A small submarine starts at –1,260 feet in relation to sea level. Then it descends 5 feet per minute for 12 minutes. What is the
zzz [600]
Hello!

Okay so our starting point is - 1,260 feet

Now it is descending (-) 5 ft per minute for 12 minutes

So we multiply -5 (negative because it is descending) by 12

-5 x 12 = -60

So now we add -60 to -1,260

This would be -1,320

So the submarine's new position in relation to the sea level is -1,320

Hope this helped. Have a great day!
