Answer:

1. You're being asked how long the are the longest feathers are in the data set.

2. The data set used for this problem is Fox Sparrow feathers, this information is found in the data chart.

3. They all have the number 2 in common, and they're mostly all fractions.

4. The same whole number with a fraction is bigger because if you convert a fraction into a decimal, the decimal will be bigger. For example, 2 3/4 converted into a decimal is 2.75, and 2 alone is just 2, so 2.75 > 2.

(If you arent learning about coverting fractions into decimals I'm sorry, thats just how I understand it)

5. You can tell which one is bigger by looking at the numerator.

What role did the steam engine play in the industrial revolution
erik [133]

Answer:

The steam engine drove industries to develop quickly.

Explanation:

Factories in England before the coming of the steam engine relied on the power and location where they could use wind, water (fast-flowing rivers), and horses. The steam engine is considered to be one of the first great inventions during the industrial revolution, as it provided power to the machines in factories. It also became the driving force behind the industrialization. The steam engine was not only used in industries but also in trains (locomotive), and ships.
