Answer: It's C

The sentence that has a dangling modifier error is the following one: After seeing a movie about overflowing landfills, a new program for recycling was started in our town. The modifier used at the beginning of this sentence should be modifying the speaker of the sentence as the ones who watched the movie about overflowing landfills.

Which example avoids redundancy of language?
garri49 [273]

Hello!

Redundancy of language means when something is repeated more than once in a sentence.

1. The answer cannot be A because "wily" is a synonym of "clever". The sentence is therefore saying: "The clever, clever con artist..."

2. The answer is B because "wily" and "smiling" are two different words with different meaning. Nothing is repeated in this sentence.

3. The answer cannot be C because "grinning" and "smiling are synonyms.

4. The answer also cannot be D because "smart" and "intelligent" are synonyms.

I hope this helps you! Have a lovely day!

NEED HELP FAST PLEASE HELPPPPPP How can adults show they’re interested in children’s feelings while respecting their privacy? Gi
joja [24]

Way one they can occasionally ask how the child is feeling but don't force them to answer.

Way two if they child is moping around sad just ask them if they are alright and give them a hug then back slowly back away giving them a moment to say anything that they want to say and if they don't want to just leave them alone.

Way three if the child is angry give them a minute to leave the room and calm down then calmly ask them what the problem is.

I know thats only three im sorry i just can't think of another one i hope everything goes good and im sorry if these didnt help i wish you the best luck with whatever your doing.
