Why can't eds have more than one passenger
katrin [286]
It is because there are certain weight limits that should be followed. When the EDS would exceed the specified limit, the aircraft will crash before it reaches its destination. This was taken from the science fiction called Cold Equation. Barton is a one of the EDS pilot. During his flight, he discovered there was a stowaway girl named Marilyn, hiding in the vessels area which eventually led to their demise.

In at least one hundred words, explain the significance of repetition in Bob Dylan’s “The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll.”
creativ13 [48]
In this song, Dylan repeats the lines "Take the rag away from your face / Now ain't the time for your tears."

He uses these lines throughout the song in order to tell the listener that *this* isn't what they should be upset about. Don't get upset that this woman was murdered. Don't get upset that she was only a maid. Now isn't the time to get upset about these things.

By the end of the song, however, this line changes. It now becomes "Bury the rag deep in your face/ For now's the time for your tears." Dylan says that now is the time to cry because justice was not served. Zanzinger only got six months for the murder of an innocent woman.

Therefore, the repetition of these lines allows Dylan to indicate the true tragedy of this story.

Identify the figurative language used in these stanzas of Amy Lowell's \"In Excelsis.\". . In complete sentences, explain how it
Natalija [7]

The author uses metaphor, personification, hyperbole, and onomatopeias as it is explained below.

 • A metahpor is used to make readers understand the connection between the two words but doesn't literally make sense. For example: a) You are frozen as the clouds, b) You are far and sweet as the high clouds.
 • Personification which means to give human characteristics to inanimate objects, example: I dare touch the rim of your brightness.
 • Hyperbole: is an outrageous exaggeration that emphasizes a point. It tends toward the ridiculous or the funny. In this sense, the author states: I leap beyond the winds, For my throat is keen as a sword. Sharpened on a hone of ivory.
 • Onomatopoeia. My throat sings the joy of my eyes
