Although American policing had become much more professional by the 1960s, there was still doubts as the statistics and public opinion proved that it still had more improvements to make.

What is Police Conduct?

This refers to the professional way in which police officers are expected to carry themselves in the execution of their duties as policemen.

With this in mind, we can see that even though there was improvement in the American policing in the 1960s, statistics and public opinion still showed that there were still improvements to be made as police brutality and racial fuelled arrests were reported.
