Mathematics

Answer:

  • unit rate: 3.5
  • it would cost $17.5 for 5 bacon egg and cheese
  • it would cost $28 for 8 bacon egg and cheese

To find unit rate:

take two best coordinates: (2,7),(4,14)

then find unit rate using:  \boxed{\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1} }

using the formula:

\frac{14-7}{4-2}

\frac{7}{2}

3.5 ...........this is unit rate.

Using y = mx + b..............Here the y-intercept is 0 and slope(m) is 3.5

y = 3.5x + 0

y = 3.5x

Now using this find bacon prices:

(a)

y = 3.5x

y = 3.5(5)

y = 17.5

(b)

y = 3.5x

y = 3.5(8)

y = 28

What is 5m2- 15m- 200
vitfil [10]

Answer:

5(m + 5) (m - 8)

Step-by-step explanation:

5m2- 15m- 200

Start by pulling 5 out.

5(m^2 - 3m - 40)

We consider all factors of 40

1    40

2   20

4    10

5     8

Based on the middle term we know that 5   and 8 are our best option.

5(m     5) (m     8)

We know the signs have to be one + and one -  because a - * - = + and + * + = +

Since 5 - 8 would give us -3 we know that our answer is

5(m + 5) (m - 8)

What is the equation 8x-3y=6-4x in Stanford form?
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

12x - 3y = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Standard form is written this way: Ax+By=C

However, in this case, we just have to simplify 8x-3y=6-4x, as it is already mostly in standard form.

So, to do this, we have to combine like terms.

The only like terms that can be combined are -4x and 8x.

So, we add 4x to both sides, and we get: 12x - 3y = 6.
