The reflection shown in the picture is an example of what's called a <em>rigid transformation</em>, one that doesn't deform the original shape in any way. Rigid transformations preserve lengths and angles, which means that the measure of some angle ∠A is going to be equivalent to the measure of the corresponding transformed angle ∠A'

Here, we see that the only response which represents that correspondence is the last one: m∠BCA = m∠B'C'A'

I only know the area of a circle but not sure how to do this.
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

2165.34 square yards

Step-by-step explanation:

It is as simple as finding the area of a circle. The given figure is a small sector of a circle with given angle '∅' and radius 'r'.

A circle completes 360° to complete its whole area.

So, we can find area of a sector of a circle by the formula =(∅/360°)\pi r²

To find area of semicircle we take as

area of semicircle= \frac{1}{2}\pi r² or    (180°/360°)\pi r²            : as semicircle forms ∠180°

              \pi =\frac{22}{7} = 3.14

Similarly, for above figure given values are ∅=150° and r=40 yards

So, the area of the given sector is =   (155°/360°)*3.14*40*40

                                                         =   0.431*3.14*40*40

Area of the sector = 2165.34 square yards
