The Hijrah was important because it marked the beginning of the Islamic era.

What is Hijrah?

Hijrah is also called as Hijra. This was the trip from Mecca to Medina between the Islamic oracle Muhammad and his supporters.

It is a necessary event in the Muslim religion. It celebrates the event of Prophet Muhammad's expedition from the sacred city of Mecca to Medina.

In order to protect himself from standing shot, he privately rejected Mecca and toured Medina, which was at that time called Maghrib. This event of 622 CE represents the start of the Muslim or Islamic era.

Therefore, option A is correct.

LeBron is writing a paper on how utilitarianism applies to animals. Which statement would be an example of the objectivity (scie
Reika [66]

Answer: Science shows that animals experience pleasure and pain, and so those experiences should be considered when reasoning about moral actions.

Explanation:

According to Utilitarianism which believes that the ends justifies the means if the ends are for the good of the society in general, the personal experiences of individuals must be noteworthy. That when moral decisions are made, individuals who have experienced pleasure or pain should have their interests taken into account.

With this in mind and with science showing that animals can experience both pleasure and pain the theory supports they should not be discriminated against when making decisions. Actions should involve considerations for both animals and humans alike because animals like humans, experience pleasure and pain.

How did the explosion of the U.S.S. Maine affect U.S. involvement in Cuba?
stira [4]

The correct answer is that it led to the U.S. declaring war on Spain, from whom Cuba was fighting for independence, in 1898. However, we need to make a few reservations about this.

Today is no longer believed that the explosion of the U.S.S Maine was so important to the deflagration of the Spanish- American-Cuban-Filipino war. We know now that by the results the U.S. pursued during and after the war, this war was an imperialist move: Americans needed more consumer market and source materials for their growing industry.

After the war, the U.S. occupied Philipines, annexed Hawaii, and turned Cuba into some sort of protectorate. This opened up China's and Latin America's markets for American goods.

How did slavery begin in Africa
Pie

Generally, the slave trade was the business of rulers or wealthy and powerful merchants, concerned with their own selfish or narrow interests, rather than those of the continent.

Explanation:

Africa entered into a unique relationship with Europe that resulted in devastation and depopulation of Africa but contributed to the wealth and development of Europe.

Initially, Portuguese started to kidnap people from the west coast of Africa and were forcibly transported across the Atlantic.

Million of people did not survived the passage across the Atlantic, due to the inhuman conditions in which they were transported, and lacked in defeating violent on-board resistance.

Many people who were enslaved in the interior Africa also died on the long journey to the coast. This loss of population was a major factor causing economic underdevelopment.
