How do you write a Semi-formal Letter?

A semi-formal letter should:

• have your address on the top right corner
• start with a salutation such as "Dear Mr. James,"
• have an introduction that is not too informal or formal either. E.g. We are grateful to have received the gift of a walking stick on behalf of my grandfather.
• have a body that is clear, and specific. Remember your intention is simply to thank the manager. Nothing too long or fancy.
• have a great closing. You may use "Cordially" or "Warmest regards", or "Best wishes" since this is an informal letter.

The last item should be your name and your signature. Your signature should come before your name.
