Dear elder brother, How are you? I hope this letter finds you best of your health. Well, I am missing you very much, brother. I am happy that you got a chance to go abroad and complete your studies. But after I felt lonely, when you went there. I am missing those days that we spend together. We used to play together, You used to bring chocolates, flowers, etc for me. We used to roam here and there and do mischievousness. I am missing your company a lot brother. Whenever I see chocolates, flowers I remember you. And the time when we disturb each other while studying. Hope you study well.

Wish you good luck. And all the very best for your studies. You may not be with me but you are always in my heart. Thank you for all those things which you did for me. Love you brother. Be happy and keep smiling always.

Your loving Sister

Thomas took the bird to veterinarian because (its/it's) wing was broken. a. its b. it’s
AfilCa [17]
The answer would be A.

The question you have to ask is, is it possessive?
Yes it is possessive.
The wing is owned by the bird. Its wing was broken.

It's means it is or it has.
It's would not make sense in this case because you can not put it is or it has into this sentence.

Jake sold a total of $9,600 worth of clothing last week at his store. If his commission is 15% on sales, how much commission did
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

Jake earned $1,440 in commission.

Explanation:

Jake's commission is 15% of the amount he sells. To find the amount Jake has made in commission, we need to multiply the amount he sold, 9,600, by 15 and then divide it by 100.

9,600.15/100

=

144,000/100

=

1,440

Therefore, last week, Jake earned a total of $1,440, which is 15% of 9,600.
