The kinetic energy is proportional to the temperature.

What is the relation between temperature and kinetic energy?

So first, we know that the kinetic energy of an object is given by:

K = (1/2)*m*v^2

Where v is the velocity and m is the mass.

We know that substances are made of molecules, and these molecules are tiny objects that move. As the temperature increases, you should see that the speed of motion of these particles increases (this is why dilation happens). So, if the velocity increases, then also increases the kinetic energy of the molecules in the substance.

The thermal velocity is approximated by:

v = \sqrt{(k/m)*T}

Where (k/m) is a constant, now, if you replace that in the kinetic energy equation, you can see that the kinetic energy is proportional to the temperature.

An atom in the ground state contains a total of 5 electrons
slava [35]

Answer:

The element will be Boron which has 5 electrons in it, and at the atomic nucleus it consists of 5 neutrons and 5 protons.

The lewis electron dot structure for boron will have three dots on the atom.

Which can be represented as · X :

Where X represents the element and dots represents the electrons present in the outermost valence shell.

Boron distributes its 5 electrons in this way, that first shell has 2 electrons and the second shell has 3 electrons.

Alenkinab [10]

Most thunderstorms form by a cycle that has three stages: the cumulus stage, mature stage, and dissipating stage. The sun heats the Earth's surface during the day. The heat on the surface and warms the air around it. Since warm air is lighter than cool air, it starts to rise (known as an updraft)
