Hi Sasha! I understand this math is hard,but I'm here to help. 9 goes on top of 14!

If we put 14 on top of 9 it would be an inproper fraction,that's when a fraction is not very easy to work with. Now, we could do 9÷14. :)

Hope dis helps!

A rectangular water tank is 90cm wide and 40 cm deep. If it can contain 576 liters of water, what is its length?
sladkih [1.3K]
Based on the given values above, in order for us to solve it, we need to make the units uniform first. So since the measurement of a rectangular water tank is in cm, we need to convert liters to centimeters cube. So 1 liter is 1000 cubic centimeter. This makes 576 liters 576,000 cubic centimeter. Now that we have the volume, let us recall the formula. V= lxwxh. Just simply plug in the values.
576,000 cm3 = l * 90cm * 40cm
576,000 = l * 3600cm2 (divide both sides by 3600cm2)
L = 160cm
Hope this answer helps.

Find the perimeter and area of the polygon with the given vertices.
ivann1987 [24]

Answer:

Perimeter: 20, Area: 21

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Based on points (2,6) and (5,6) :  w = 5 - 2 = 3
  • Base on points (5,6) and (5,-1 ): l = 6 - (-1) = 7

  • Perimeter: 2 x (3 + 7) = 20
  • Area: 3 x 7 = 21
