In any kind of formal writing, the writer should be sure to use a formal language.
Using a formal language, not using slang or including swear words, is a crucial part of being a formal writer. A formal piece of writing also needs proper formatting, layouts, punctuation, grammar (and all that good stuff you learned in your early days).
Not only does this make your piece look more professional, it attracts the audience and gains trust from them.

Figurative is incorrect - it uses words or expressions which differ from their literal meaning.
Emotional is not a term that is used and therefore doesn't make sense.
It is necessary to give credit to the words and ideas from the original author because if you do not you are plagiarising also if you plagiarize while writing a book without quotations or referring to the author it is illegal.
My favorite song is Rasool'Allah by Harris J. The song is about the prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) -about his life and how he got the message of prophethood.
I like the song because it is inspirational and telling us about the live of our beloved prophet (S .A.W).
