I have a huge question, and I'm in need of an answer fast. If you know someone who is about to be a runaway because they're bein

g abused, and no one will help them even when they cried for help. Once the person is caught.....Will they HAVE to go back to their family, or can the police keep them in custody?

Answer:

I think that police investigate the family but I don't think they send them back. Since children can be taken by CPS, I think it's should be safe to assume that the situation will be handed and they'll have a different location to stay in.

Explanation:

They shouldn't keep them if they ask to stay away unless the family puts them up as missing.
