My brother is quite violent when provoked. He no longer thinks reasonably. I know this. However, about two months ago, I was teasing him. I made fun of him and commented on his height (he is short for his age). He became enraged and began to swing at me. I knew that this would not end well and so I ran to my room and shut the door. My door has holes in it (it's wood and he was holding something), but I am fine. The plus side of running away is giving the other person time to calm down from the situation.
