Yes, I believe the US' entry into WW1 was justified as they had been suffering attacks by German U-Boats (germans even hit a US Ship), will have the opportunity to make money by supplying the Allies with the war effort, The Zimmerman Telegram Issue (US intercepted a telegram from Germany that was to go to Mexico so that they'd may join forces to beat the US), and most importantly President Wilson's Idealism (his believe America should stand as an example for other nations to follow; democracy shall reign).
