Perimeter:

6y + 12

Area:

{2y}^{2} + 12y

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle : P= 2( L + w)

in this case it would be 2(y+6) + 2(2y)

= 2y+12 + 4y

simplified to 6y +12

Area of a rectangle : A= LW

=(y+6)(2y)

We foil and get

{2y}^{2} + 12y
