Think of this question as being like a die that you would use to play monopoly with. A die has 6 sides right? Or a sugar cube. That has six sides. So a rectangular prism has the same number of sides.

I just thought of something. Do you mean faces or edges? There are 12 edges and 6 faces or sides. I hope that's what you mean.

6 faces <<<< answer
12 edges where 2 faces meet <<<< answer

aron lei is making identical balloon arrangements for a party. He has 32 maroon balloons and 24 white balloons, he wants each ar
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

The greatest number of arrangements that he can make if every balloon is used is 8.

Step-by-step explanation:

The greatest number of arrangements will be the greatest common factor between 24 and 32.

GCF of 24 and 32:

We keep factoring both numbers by prime factors, while they can both be divided by the same number. So

24 - 32|2

12 - 16|2

6 - 8|2

3 - 4

There is no factor for which we can divide both 3 and 4. So the GCF is 2*2*2 = 8.

This means that the greatest number of arrangements that he can make if every balloon is used is 8.

How do you find the area of a triangle if you only know it's three sides?
DiKsa [7]
You would have to find the height.

To do this, you cut the triangle from the upper vertex to the base to create two new triangles.

Then you use the Law of Cosines. You could use the google calculator for this by searching “law of cosines calculator” and inputting the values, but in case of a test, the formula is a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2bc cosA

If you could provide an example of a triangle, I will gladly help you with the steps! Hope this helped!

The difference of two numbers is equal to 0.6. Their quotient is also 0.6. What are the numbers?
Murrr4er [49]

Solution:

we are given that

The difference of two numbers is equal to 0.6.

Let the numbers  be x and y so we can write

x-y=0.6......(i)

Their quotient is also 0.6.

so we can write

\frac{x}{y} =0.6.....(ii)

Now solve these two equations together we get

0.6y-y=0.6......(i)

-0.4y=0.6

y=-3/2=-1.5

x =0.6+y

x =0.6-1.5=-0.9

Hence the numbers are -1.5 and -0.9

Please, please I need this.

The range of the set is 17 because the range is the largest number minus the smallest number in this set 93 is the largest and 76 is the smallest therefore you subtract them 93-76=17.
