First use PEMDAS so 26x2=52
52-3=49
4+49=53
53x4
Given that the number rolled is odd, it can be 1, 3, or 5 = 3 possibilities.
Only one of the possibilities is success . . . rolling a 3 .
So the probability of success is 1/3 = 33 and 1/3 percent .
18x-16y=5
Subtract 18x from each side
-16y=-18x+5
Divide by -16
y=18/16x-5/16
y=9/8x-5/16 this one is with improper fractions
