Answer: True

Explanation; Prokaryotes are all single-celled organisms that lack membrane-enclosed nucleus and organelles. Also Cyanobacteria are prokaryotic cells (the simplest form of modern carbon-based life) in that they lack a DNA-packaging nucleus. Bacteria, including the photosynthetic cyanobacteria, were the only form of life on Earth for the first 2 billion years that life existed on Earth.

True. They were originally formed by the growth of layer upon layer of cyanobacteria, a single-celled photosynthesizing microbe that lives today in a wide range of environments ranging from the shallow shelf to lakes, rivers, and even soils. It is a prokaryote, with no nucleus.

Which answer choice does not contain at least one cellular process inhibited by antibiotics?
USPshnik [31]
Antibiotics work by selectively targeting the reproduction or growth of specific bacteria cells and by not attacking human DNA. Antibiotics do not, or should not, target and affect human DNA gyrases, although they should target the specific bacteria growth. The host, (human) DNA needs to remain unharmed while the bacteria does not replicate.

Why is dna smaller than rna?
Elis [28]
No it’s the other way around .

RNA is much shorter than DNA. DNA contains the code for making lots and lots of different proteins. Messenger RNA contains the information to make just one single polypeptide chain - in other words for just one protein, or even just a part of a protein if it is made up of more than one polypeptide chain.

Explain the role of valence electrons and how they relate to the periodic table of elements?
myrzilka [38]

Explanation:

The valence electrons determine the group the elements belong in the periodic table. For example, the element sodium, Na, has a valence electron of one and so it belongs to Group 1 in the periodic table. Another example is Aluminium, Al, which has a valence electron of three and therefore it belongs to Group 3 in the periodic table.
