11. What is the next number in follwing number sequence

maria [59]

Answer:

The correct answer is B. The square root of 36.

Explanation:

If you figure out the square roots of the numbers, you will see the pattern's sequence is simply decreasing by 1 from 10. For the first number, the square root of 100 is 10, because 10 squared or 10 x 10 is equal to 100. After 9, we have the square root of 64 which is 8, and 8 squared or 8 x 8 = 64. Then after 7, it would be the square root of 36 which is 6, because 6 squared or 6 x 6 = 36. Having the sequence be 10, 9, 8, 7, and then finally 6. Remember when dealing with squaring numbers, it's a number multiplied by itself, and with square roots, you find that number and divided it by the given product to get the exact same number. If you need clarification on the difference, please feel free to ask me.

Answer:

stereotyping

Explanation:

According to my research on studies conducted by various sociologists, I can say that based on the information provided within the question Celene's statement is an example of stereotyping. This is formally defined as an over-generalized belief about a particular category of people. For example the stereotype being used by Celene is that all Asian's are incredibly good at math.

In at least one hundred words, explain the significance of repetition in Bob Dylan’s “The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll.”
creativ13 [48]
In this song, Dylan repeats the lines "Take the rag away from your face / Now ain't the time for your tears."

He uses these lines throughout the song in order to tell the listener that *this* isn't what they should be upset about. Don't get upset that this woman was murdered. Don't get upset that she was only a maid. Now isn't the time to get upset about these things.

By the end of the song, however, this line changes. It now becomes "Bury the rag deep in your face/ For now's the time for your tears." Dylan says that now is the time to cry because justice was not served. Zanzinger only got six months for the murder of an innocent woman.

Therefore, the repetition of these lines allows Dylan to indicate the true tragedy of this story.
