A summary of an informational text must show the relationship between the author’s viewpoint and the information presented.

When you summarize a text, you have to briefly describe that text in your own words. To make an effective summary, you must identifies the topics or subjects of the text that you intend to summarize and then, briefly talk about the most important and noticeable ideas, not forgetting details and objectives.

Alina [70]

The theme that is discussed in class from the story "The Ant and The Grasshopper" is the importance of preparation and saving for a rainy day.

A story to illustrate the theme will be given as follows: John and Peter are colleagues in the office. John was prudent while Peter was a spendthrift.

Both of them planned to buy a car when the year ends. When it was December, John collected his savings and bought a car while Peter had nothing to show since he spends his money uselessly. It shows that it's important to be prepared.

What is the theme of "The Landlady"? By Roald Dahl
GenaCL600 [577]
Although there are many themes of "The Landlady" by author Roald Dahl, one of the main themes is appearance vs reality. The Landlady is very nice and generous towards Billy which causes him to ignore the sinister plot the Landlady is conjuring.
