Hello.

In order to find out which option is true, let's simplify all these fractions:

\displaystyle\frac{3}{4}

This fraction is already in its simplest form.

Let's simplify the following fraction:

\displaystyle\frac{9}{16}

This fraction is also in its simplest form.

Thus, Option A is false.

\displaystyle\frac{6}{8}

Divide both the top and bottom by 2:

\displaystyle\frac{3}{4}

Is it equivalent (equal) to \displaystyle\frac{4}3}? No, these fractions are reciprocals.

Thus, Option B is false as well; we have two remaining options.

We can see right off the bat that 3 is on no account equal to 8, so we cross out Option C.

Thus, Option D is the correct option.

I hope it helps.

Have a nice day!

\boxed{imperturbability\::-))}

SCORPION-xisa [38]

Answer:

9/10

1/2+2/5

Since these fractions have different denominators, we need to find the least common multiple of the denominators.The least common multiple of 2 and 5 is 10, so we need to multiply to make each of the denominators = 10

1/2 ∗ 5/5 = 5/10

5/2∗ 2/2= 4/10

Since these fractions have the same denominator, we can just add the numerators

5/10+ 4/10 = 9/10
