In America they're trying to teach you how bad Russia was during the Soviet Union, but the actual people who lived there had everything they wanted and needed. My grandparents are from there as my mom, and they cried when the Union collapsed. It was not bad for them, but for the Americans of course it was. Was the democracy good for the Russians, heck no.
