We are afraid to makes mistake because some mistakes can be really bad. So you just want to run from it. From experiences I was afraid of making mistake because I don't want that to determine who I am for the rest of my life.
Because we are afraid that if we do then others will judge and we will doubt our selfs and how we feel about our self you learn and improve from them but nobody wants to make them for the fact that it causes self doubt and for some people by making a mistake they see it as failure rather than a subject to improve
